December 18, 2013 Community Involvement ETA volunteers visited Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization, on Tuesday, December 17th, to help sort and package food donations. Philabundance’s mission is to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by acquiring food and distributing it through organizations serving people in need. Philabundance relies on more than 60% of support from volunteer services to help feed our hungry Delaware Valley neighbors. While there, ETA’s experts teamed up with many other volunteers from the Delaware Valley to form an assembly line to create the food packages. After a night of hard work on the line, it was announced that ETA helped package 880 boxes of food, totaling over 20,000 lbs. of food. ETA’s volunteers included Chris Aldred – Marketing Programs Manager, Justine Bockman – Marketing Communications Specialist, Heather Pearson – Sales Engineer, and Tom Stengel – Finance Director (pictured below).
