At ETA, we believe in contributing to the well-being of others and giving back to the community. Every year, ETA employees participate in various charitable efforts in and around the Philadelphia area. Cradles to Crayons Volunteer Event
May 11, 2012
ETA Volunteers spent an afternoon at Cradles to Crayons helping to sort and prepare donations, called KidPacks, that the non-profit distributes to children in need. KidPacks include a week's supply of clothing, toys, books and school supplies. For pictures and more information, click here.

Read Across Philadelphia

For the fourth year in a row, ETA volunteers gathered their best Dr. Seuss reading voices and participated in Read Across Philadelphia, which celebrates the March 2nd birthday and legacy of Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss by spreading the importance and fun of reading. This year, the team of readers recited “Oh! The Places You'll Go” to the fantastic students of James Dobson School in Manayunk. Philabundance Food Bank Event

During the Holiday season this year, ETA volunteers visited a Philadelphia-area food bank to sort and repackage food for local pantries. Philabundance is the region's largest hunger relief organization. Their mission is to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by acquiring food and distributing it through organizations serving people in need. Philabundance relies on more than 60% of support from volunteer services to help feed our hungry Delaware Valley neighbors. Click here to learn more about this event.

Toys for Tots 50/50 Fundraiser
Ends December 2011
For the fourth year in a row, ETA collected donations through a 50/50 drawing for Toys for Tots, the U.S. Marine Corps foundation that works to collect and distribute toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children. In 2011, ETA raised $2000 to go towards the purchase of new, unwrapped toys to donate to this great cause! To learn more about Toys for Tots, visit ToysForTots.org or click here.

Bike MS: City to Shore Ride
September 24 & 25, 2011
For the sixth year in a row, ETA employees, family and friends are joining together to participate in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Bike MS: City to Shore Ride, an annual event that raises money for MS research and programs. The 2011 Wissahickon Trail Classic

ETA is proud to sponsor the 2011 Wissahickon Trail Classic 10K run/5K walk, which benefits the Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers (WRV) group - a non-profit dedicated to the restoration of the natural areas of the Wissahickon Valley Park in Philadelphia. Toys for Tots Collection Drive

For the third year, ETA will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots. Our goal is to raise $2,000. With a weekly 50/50 put in place for employees, everyone gets a chance to help the community and have fun at the same time.  Visit the Toys for Tots website at www.toysfortots.org to find out about the huge impact this organization is having on communities nationwide.

Philadelphia Cares Day
October 16, 2010
ETA is honored to participate in the upcoming Philadelphia Cares event, a marathon day of service that provides our children more attractive, functional, and safe learning environments.  Team ETA will join more than 500 local volunteers to help paint, refurbish, landscape, repair and beautify over 100 local schools.  For more information, visit the Philadelphia Cares Day website.

Water Ice for the Ocean
Summer 2010
ETA is having a water ice sale throughout the summer months to raise funds to assist with the oil spill recovery efforts in the Gulf Coast.  All proceeds will be donated to two organizations: Oceana, which is spearheading ocean research and cleanup efforts, and the Audubon Society, which is providing widespread help to heal wildlife injured or incapacitated by the spill.
