Bike MS: City to Shore Ride 2011
Saturday & Sunday, September 24 & 25

This year, for the sixth year in a row, a team of Expert Technology Associates (ETA) employees, family members
and friends will be participating in the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride.

As one of the National MS Society’s largest fundraising efforts, the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride raises money to support both research for a cure and programs that address the needs of people living with MS today.

 

 

The ride, which is on September 24 & 25, 2011, goes through the blueberry fields of Hammonton, the South New Jersey pine barrens and into the sweet smells of salt water taffy and ocean air in historic Ocean City. But that’s not necessarily what keeps Team ETA coming back every year.

“It’s the energy and the feel of the whole day,” says Team ETA’s Captain Heather Pearson. “Just as you’re huffing and puffing, and struggling to get to the next rest stop, you turn a corner and see people on the sidelines with signs reading Thank You for Riding for Us. That, combined with the fun rest stops and the positive way everyone joins together for this great cause, is what keeps us coming back each year.”

Joining Team ETA
Don’t worry about being an expert cyclist, just ride as many miles as you can! Riders can choose from these one-day route options: 25 miles, 50 miles, 75 miles, or 100 miles. Or, if you’re ambitious, pick one of these two-day rides: 75 miles each day or 75 miles each day plus a 25-mile loop. To join Team ETA, please visit Team ETA's home page here and click "Join Team".

Donating to Team ETA
If you can’t ride with us, you can still be part of the team by donating. The funds collected will go directly to the National MS Society. (Please note that all riders need to raise $300 individually just to participate in the race, so donating to a specific rider benefits the overall team as well.)
