Expert Technology Associates recently collected 323 gently used men’s professional attire for the Henry A. Davidsen Suit Drive. The eight-week challenge benefited Career Wardrobe and MenzFit, which help unemployed Philadelphians reentering the job force. Henry A. Davidsen’s goal was to collect 1,000 items in just 8 weeks. Along with ETA’s help, they were able to collect close to 2,000 suit items!“ETA was an incredible collection partner.  We are extremely thankful that they jumped on board with full commitment and played an integral role in the overall success of the drive, which will have a tremendous impact for many people in Philadelphia.” Brian Lipstein, President, Henry A. Davidsen, Master Tailors & Image Consultants

Career Wardrobe and MenzFit are nonprofit social enterprises that use clothing and professional development to empower unemployed individuals to work. Through Career Wardrobe, job seekers can shop at no cost at their boutique with a referral or for a small fee if they are not receiving government assistance. MenzFit provides each client with one suit when he has a scheduled interview and a second outfit when he gets the job.

“A suit is more than just about how you look – it’s about how you feel, and it’s important to feel your absolute best during a job interview,” said Lipstein. “The Suit Drive gives men looking to re-enter the workforce a chance at a new beginning. Through this campaign, we have an opportunity to truly make a difference in people’s lives.”

ETA is always active in helping the community and this is just one of the projects we participate in. Follow us to see more updates about ETA’s contributions in the area.
