Shared applications, sensitive customer and employee information, email, CRM, ERP, and BI systems—All of these are resources your business needs to keep running, stay current, and often to remain compliant.  And they’re all stored on your company’s network servers.

Server Data Recovery PoweredUp!™ is designed to get you back up and running in the shortest possible timeframe and with extremely little exposure to data loss in the event of an outage.  In fact, our Recovery Time Objective (RTO) - Or the time it takes to restore full connectivity to your critical files and applications - can be as little as two hours.  And our Recovery Point Objective (RPO), or the amount of time and data lost, can be as low as 15 minutes.  Here’s how we do it:

An initial image, or “snapshot” of your servers is taken & stored on the PoweredUp!™ Network Appliance (installed and managed by ETA). Every 15 minutes, all changes since the last image are recorded and stored as well.

Server backups are then transferred to a secure, remote data center to ensure redundancy and reduce risk in the event your office or technology infrastructure becomes compromised or unavailable.

There are several options available to restore your server data, depending on your business needs.  Either way, getting you back up and running couldn’t be easier.

1.    Your server is still running but you just need to restore deleted or overwritten files.
ETA's Help Desk will help restore your deleted files from the PoweredUp!
       network appliance.

2.   Your server is down because of a virus or hard drive failure.  Your computer
consultant will replace your server's hard drive.  Then, ETA's Help Desk will do
a "bare metal restore" from the latest backup snapshot.

3.   Your server is down and totally inoperable.  If your Microsoft Server license
supports virtualization, your server's latest snapshot can be virtualized so it's
available online, usually within a few hours.  This option is best in temporary
outage situations where only a single production server has been damaged or
      compromised.

4.  A fully functional replacement PoweredUp! Network Appliance with all your data
from the previous night's online backup can be shipped to you, typically arriving
in as little as one day.  This option is best for situations where your server or
building has been physically damaged or made inaccessible.  There are additional
charges related to the shipping and replacement appliance.
